Some of the local amenities at Stracathro Hospital include an onsite café which is open from 8.30am-3.30pm, idyllic grounds to walk in with deer and red squirrels regularly seen. Slightly further afield you will find Brechin, Edzell and Fettercairn, with accommodation, coffee shops, restaurants and historic places of interest.

Brechin and Montrose are a short drive away and provide sports centres, shops, dining and local events. If you’re looking for more, Stracathro is situated half way between Aberdeen and Dundee.

Local area points of interest: Brechin Castle Centre is 10 minutes drive away, the pretty village of Edzell with shops, coffee shops, hotels, a castle and woodland walks is only a 10 minute drive and Montrose beach is a 20 minute drive.
