Spiritual Care and Wellbeing

We work to ensure that people remain at the heart of healthcare.

“It helped me to be open about everything for the first time in years, many years. Thank you for helping to put ‘me’ back in my life.” NHS Tayside patient, July 2020
During challenging times we can struggle with thoughts and emotions that can feel overwhelming. But they don’t define us. We are more than these, but sometimes it can be helpful to have someone listen. The NHS Tayside Spiritual Care team sit alongside people as they explore not just their fears, doubts and frustrations, but also any hopes, strengths and choices.

We provide impartial and confidential support to patients, staff, carers, families and volunteers across all healthcare settings in Tayside.

Using the blue tabs below, find out more about what we offer:

  • In hospitals and other inpatient units, via our team of Healthcare Chaplains
  • Out in the community, via our Listening Service
  • During a bereavement, via our Bereavement Service
  • For NHS staff, via our Staff Wellbeing Service and Reflective Workshops
