Pop up shop raised £5,000 for charity

A Broughty Ferry pop up shop raised money for Roxburghe House and Rachel House Children’s Hospice.

Pam Stewart and Hazel Reid have been hard at work raising money in their pop up shop for the two charities which are close to their hearts.

The shop sold clothes and accessories, books, toys, household items and bric-a-brac. Lorraine Kelly also donated some outfits that generated a lot of interest.

Pam said, “We wanted to raise money for Roxburghe House and Rachel House Children’s Hospice as they are great local charities.

“We have friends and family who have benefited from the great support they provide so we raised £5,000 and split it between the two charities.”

Accepting the cheque, Service Manager Anne Robb said, "Thank you to Pamela and Hazel for their splendid fundraising activities, especially the time and effort they put into the pop up shop.

“The donation will be used to enhance care for people with life-limiting illnesses.”
