FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Diabetes Forum Meetings in Angus

If you are living with type 2 diabetes in Angus, your local Diabetes Forum would like to invite you to their October meetings.

The groups were established to support people to live well with diabetes and, as well as providing information, the meetings offer a chance to chat with others living with diabetes over a cup of tea or coffee.

The Forfar Diabetes Forum will take place on Wednesday, 19 October from 10am-12 at Whitehills Health & Community Care Centre, Forfar where an update on food labelling will be presented.

The Arbroath Diabetes Forum will take place on Thursday, 13 October from 3-5pm at Springfield Medical Centre where the topic will be 'The no nonsense guide to type 2 diabetes’.

The Montrose Diabetes Forum will take place on Thursday, 20 October from 6.30-8.30pm at the Links Health Centre, Montrose where the topic will be 'The no nonsense guide to type 2 diabetes’.

The meetings are organised by the Angus Health & Social Care Partnership in partnership with the local Diabetes Forum. The meetings are open to anyone living with diabetes as well as their families and friends.
