Nursing Assistant Alan Neary retires after 38 years service with the NHS

Nursing assistant Alan Neary has retired after 38 years service with the NHS.

Alan began working at Murray Royal Hospital in Perth when he left school in 1979 and worked in a number of wards in the hospital during his career, including Moredun and Garry wards.

He later transferred to a post in the Rohallion Secure Care Clinic when the facility opened in 2012.

Presenting Alan with his retiral gifts, Head of Nursing for Secure Care, Amanda McLaren said, “Alan is a dedicated and valued member of the team who has always been extremely reliable and conscientious. He will be greatly missed.”
