The League of Friends of Arbroath Infirmary has generously donated various pieces of equipment for the benefit of patients in Arbroath.

The District Nursing Service Angus was presented with four Dyson fans for use by palliative patients in their homes, four digital audio monitors to allow family members and carers to listen to patients without disturbing them or to allow for patients to call for assistance, and 30 torches and pocket mirrors to aid the viewing of wounds.

Clinical team manager Anne Robb said, “It is a very kind of the League of Friends to consider community patients and the District Nursing Service for such a generous donation.

“This will help to provide support to enable patients to remain in their own homes whilst receiving care from the district nursing teams.”
