Donation to ward 4 at Ninewells and Maggie’s Centre

A Dundee woman has raised £2,000 in memory of her friend Edith Mullholand.

Ann Melville held a race night and raffle to raise funds for ward 4 and Maggie’s Centre in her friend Edith’s memory.

Ann said, “I am overwhelmed with the many prizes that were donated for the raffle as well as the amount of money that was raised. Everyone is so generous.

“I am donating two portable DVD players and £200 to ward 4 at Ninewells and the rest will go to Maggie’s Centre.”

Accepting the donation, senior charge nurse Linda Nicol said, “On behalf of the staff in ward 4, I would like to thank Anne for her donations and congratulate her on her fundraising.  

“We are very grateful and it really will make a difference to the patients we care for in ward 4 and improve their stay whilst in hospital.”
