Multiple Pregnancy (twins or more)

It is usually possible to find out you're having twins at your 12 week scan . At the scan you will be told whether the babies share a placenta (meaning they are identical) or if they have 2 separate placenta (meaning they can be identical or not).

Twin pregnancies are classed as higher risk and therefore you will be cared for by an obstetric team within the antenatal clinic.

The Scottish Government have funded free online classes for you, tailor made for multiple pregnancies. Please click on the image below and book your place now.
